WheelTime Network LLC (WheelTime) values its customers and is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers' information. In keeping with that philosophy, WheelTime has developed a Privacy Policy, set out below, that ensures the continued protection of its customers' identifying and non-identifying information, and inform its customers about the measures WheelTime takes to safeguard that information. Who is covered. We provide this Privacy Policy to each customer who uses www.wheeltime.com to track the services performed on their trucks by WheelTime's Network of more than 200 service locations (WheelTime Network), or utilizes WheelTime's online billing and ordering services.
Information collected. In the normal course of business, and to provide the necessary services to our customers, we may obtain information directly from the customer, from customer-related transactions, or from our Network of distributorships that service our customers' fleets. WheelTime will also be adding additional Internet services for its customers that will include the collection of billing and ordering information.
How the information is used. Currently, WheelTime uses the information provided by its customers to provide real-time data regarding the status of services and repairs performed by members of the WheelTime Network on its customers' truck fleets. As discussed below, such information is only made available to WheelTime, WheelTime's service providers (e.g., WheelTime's website host/developer), and the individual customer requesting such information. This service is intended to provide WheelTime's customers with the information necessary to make critical logistical decisions and maximize the uptime of their truck fleets.
WheelTime will also use this data to send e-mail notification to customers regarding the repair status of their truck fleet. WheelTime will never send an e-mail requesting personal, financial or credit card information. If you receive such an e-mail, please do not respond. In the future, WheelTime plans to offer interactive online billing and ordering services to its customers, including paying invoices, ordering parts and scheduling services. Any information collected by WheelTime in these interactive processes will be used to optimize the services that WheelTime provides to that individual customer.
Availability of information. WheelTime will only make customer identifying information available to the individual customer, the WheelTime Network distributors who are or will be providing services to the customer's truck fleet, personnel at WheelTime's headquarters, and WheelTime's website host/developer. If a customer elects to utilize the billing and ordering services that will be offered by WheelTime, customer identifying information will only be shared with those parties necessary to complete the transaction (e.g., WheelTime's website host/developer, a credit card company or financial institution, or parts distributor). WheelTime uses customer identifying information exclusively to optimize the service it provides to its customers, and will not share such information with any other party except WheelTime's website host/developer.
Security. WheelTime, at all times, strives to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of its customer's identifying information in its possession, and has instituted measures to guard against unauthorized access to such information. Each customer will be assigned a unique username and password to access the information and features offered on this website. In addition, WheelTime maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in compliance with federal standards to protect that information.
Opt-out for customers. Customers will be offered the option of signing up to receive a unique username and password. A customer is free to decline this initial invitation. In addition, a customer may discontinue its participation in WheelTime's online services at any time by contacting customer service at the e-mail address set forth below. A customer may stop receiving e-mail service notifications or communications by simply replying to any e-mail sent by WheelTime and including "unsubscribe" in the subject line.
Third-party advertising and links. Our website may include third-party advertising and links to other websites. WheelTime does not provide any personally identifiable customer information to these advertisers or third-party websites.
Third-party websites and advertisers, or Internet advertising companies working on their behalf (Third Parties), sometimes use technology to send (or serve) the advertisements that appear on our website directly to your browser. Such Third Parties automatically receive your IP address when this happens. The Third Parties may also use cookies, JavaScript, Web beacons (also known as action tags or single-pixel gifs), and other technologies to measure the effectiveness of the Third Parties' advertisements and to personalize advertising content.
